Simplifying Payments Connectivity
Payments is our largest vertical. NuvoLinQ has been providing connectivity solutions to the industry since our inception. NuvoLinQ serves more than 400,000 payment devices in Canada, USA, and EU. These connections are managed for a list that includes several payment processors, ISO’s and MSP’s, and cover use cases from payment terminals, self-serve kiosks, and ATMs. Many of our processes were developed for and with the feedback and input from key stakeholders in the industry. The knowledge and trust we have developed in the industry has resulted NuvoLinQ being sought out to assist in various elements of the payments ecosystem.
NuvoLinQ's Wins.
Consulted and assisted two payment terminal manufacturers with PTCRB certification
Consulted and project managed carrier certifications of payment devices for five different manufacturers
Consulted and assisted three payment device manufacturers with UICC and embedded SIM development and design.
SCANLINQ: QR Quick Service.
NuvoLinQ developed SCANLINQ specifically to enhance customer service parameters for merchants. A QR code integrated with LinQView allows onboarding and field services personnel to efficiently onboard a device and capture all pertinent information about that device and attached network such as:
– ICCID
– IP Address
– Carrier
– Device IMEI
– Device Serial Number
– Device Model
– Merchant Name
– Merchant Address
Post-implementation, merchants can scan the QR code using their own phones to automatically initiate a trouble ticket with our helpdesk, complete with all pertinent information for immediate triage. This simple, frictionless feature elevates customer service for merchants.
NuvoLinQ is singularly focused on wireless IoT connectivity—it’s all we do. This principle forms the cornerstone of our business, allowing us to develop services that enable our payment customers to onboard, deploy, and manage their assets securely, simply, and with the highest degree of reliability.
We achieve this via the following:
Carrier Interconnection
NuvoLinQ has established strong partnerships and detailed operating agreements with key Tier 1 carriers globally. We connect directly with these carriers through secure links, providing highly managed connectivity and best-in-class post-implementation support, including access to high-tech support teams from our carrier partners.
Unlike others, NuvoLinQ does not merely resell services; we interconnect to carriers’ cores, bringing connections through our secure Cloud infrastructure where we enhance security and management capabilities.
Security and Performance
NuvoLinQ provides ALL connections via a private, secure APN, and we build custom private APN’s for our customers on request. This is the first line of security for connections put out on the field.
ALL connections are Static IP as a standard. These private static IP’s further encapsulate the connections making them impervious to hacking or bad actors while in the field. The static IP’s also provide a greater level of performance allowing for a greater degree of diagnostics when required, and as payment devices are more and more Android based, more efficient downloads are possible, and targeted application downloads are both possible and simple.

Why You Need an Extremely Secure and Highly Available Wireless POS Data Service.
Point-of-sale (POS) systems have evolved from cash registers to modern hubs that manage sales, customer experience, promotional offers, and operational processes. Over the last 5+ years, POS solutions have evolved to keep pace with today’s increasingly demanding and well-informed consumers. If they are unsatisfied with the choices or service levels you offer, they can, with mobile devices in hand, instantly access a limitless set of alternatives. As a result of such extreme competitive pressures, modern POS has evolved far beyond a payment and accounting system to become not just point of sale, but also point of service, driving highly individualized interactions that consistently gratify customers in the moment.
Today’s POS devices are becoming increasingly computer-like in nature, many moving to an Android operating system. Let’s look at the most common POS system features that drive new and large amounts of data.
Data drives businesses. The right POS system provides a range of reporting and analytics features you can use to drive business decisions. For example, you can see which products sell the most, what time of the day is busiest, which credit cards people use, or which employees sell the most products.
This information makes it easier to order products on time, schedule employees, and determine which products customers prefer and buy most often. After taking payments, reporting is the most critical feature of a POS system.
POS systems can manage the tracking items sold, allowing employees to look up stock and find prices, and notifying you when stock is low or at a preset level. More efficient inventory controls.
7/24 system availability is a must and the more network options that can be provisioned, this improves uptime, speed of transaction processing, improve service levels and save sales.
POS systems shouldn’t work in a silo. In today’s digital world, they connect with many other platforms, including sales software, customer relationship management (CRM) platform, email marketing provider, invoicing software, and more. A POS system connects with sales, marketing, and other business platforms so clients can make the most of business data.
Security must be a top concern. POS systems process credit cards and other electronic payments, so you need to ensure that data is secure. Depending on the locations of both systems and customers, there will be a need to comply with privacy laws, GDPR and other regulations.
